Founding members hold the first meetings toward establishing a new church and future home of Alice Christian School.
Cornerstone Baptist Established
Land Purchased, Construction Begins
Six acres purchased on North Stadium Road in Alice, Texas, and construction on the main church building (worship center) begins.
Worship Center Dedicated
Construction of the main sanctuary completed and services begin in the new facilities.
Education Building Completed
Construction completed on the educational building, which will serve as the new home of Alice Christian School.
Good Foundations Day Care Opens
Good Foundations Day Care (later Good Foundations Learning Center) begins operation.
Area-Wide Worship Services Initiated
Cornerstone takes lead in holding area-wide worship services in cooperation with other local churches.
Pumpkin Patch Missions Fundraiser Begins
The first annual Pumpkin Patch opens in order to raise money for missions.
Virtual Services Begin
In response to COVID-19 restrictions, Cornerstone begins using virtual worship services.
In-Person Services Resume
Following the easing of restrictions, in-person services resume in conjunction with virtual services.
